  • “User” refers to any individual who creates an account or uploads content.
  • “Content” refers to photos, images, and associated metadata uploaded by users.

2. User Accounts

  • Users must provide accurate information and maintain the security of their accounts.
  • Users are responsible for all activity under their account.

3. Photo Uploads and Intellectual Property

  • Users retain full copyright and ownership of all photos they upload. Ikona does not claim ownership of your photos.
  • By uploading photos, users grant Ikona a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute their photos via our CDN solely for the purpose of providing the Ikona service. This license is limited to the operation and promotion of the platform and does not permit commercial use beyond hosting and display.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights and permissions for the photos they upload, including any identifiable persons or third-party content.

4. User Conduct

  • Users must not upload content that infringes on the rights of others, is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise violates these Terms.
  • Users are prohibited from uploading photos they do not own or have permission to share.

5. Content Removal

  • Users can delete their photos at any time, which will remove them from public view and the CDN within a reasonable period.
  • Ikona reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is subject to a valid legal complaint.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Ikona is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the platform, including loss, misuse, or unauthorized access to content.
  • Users acknowledge that while Ikona takes reasonable security measures, no system is completely secure.

7. Changes to Terms

  • Ikona may update these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

8. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
